The Kristiane Dress

The Kristiane dress was the first temple dress that I sketched out. Seeing it come to life is a dream come true. I searched high and low for the perfect fabric for this dress the and the perfect lace to compliment on the collar. The waistband is flattering but not constricting and pockets are always a must! This dress is my favorite- don't tell the others!

Kristiane is a Scandinavian name meaning "follower of Christ". My great-great grandmother, Kristiane was a beautiful follower of Christ. With her husband, she left Denmark and moved her young family across the world and settled in Cache Valley. Like many pioneers, her life was not easy- it was filled with loss and heartache but she did all things in love. She created joy and beauty as she cared for her family above all else.

I hope this can be the dress you love to wear when you attend the temple. When I wear it it is a sweet reminder to me that following Christ is a beautiful pursuit.
